Welcome to Spiky šŸ‘‹

Spiky is here to empower your company's sales and customer support/success processes. We know the creation and migration process can be challenging, but we are here to support you!

This article provides some general tips and tricks, conditions, and information about Spiky. For more insights, feel free to check out the rest of ourĀ help centerĀ articles.

Here is a 5-step ā€œDay-1ā€ guide that will take less than 5 minutes to kick-start your journey with Spiky!

Once you are comfortable and settled in, check out the Week-1 and Month-1 guides to gain a deeper understanding and get more value out of Spiky!

Step 1: Set up your account

The first step in your journey with Spiky is setting up your account. Navigate to the Settings > AccountĀ page to add your personal information, including your name, title, and profile picture. By completing your account setup, you can ensure that the outputs of your meetings are accurately linked to your profile, and your team members can more easily recognize who is who with each meeting report.

šŸ’” Do not forget to add a clear profile picture to help your colleagues to find you easily.

Step 2: Integrate your tools

Connect your calendar

Integrating your calendar automates the recording and analysis processes, allowing Spiky to automatically join your meetings without manual invitations.

  1. Connect your calendar with your Spiky account by visiting the Settings > Integrations > Calendar page.

  2. Click on the Connect button to log in to your calendar account.

Connect your CRM

CRM integration synchronizes your meeting notes and analyses with your CRM for easy reference. This feature enables an auto-filling process, saving you time from logging endless notes and to-dos into your deals and accounts.

  1. Connect your daily CRM with your Spiky account by visiting the Settings > Integrations > CRM page.

  2. Click on the Connect button to log in to your CRM account.

Step 3: Adjust your Scribe settings

If you wish to change your Scribeā€™s name and image, you can easily go to Settings > Personal > Scribe menu.

šŸ’”Please be aware that these settings apply when you are the only Spiky user from your organization in a meeting. Organizational settings will be used if multiple participants from the same organization join a meeting.

Step 4: Invite your team members

You can invite your teammates to Spiky if you are an admin in Spiky. Also, in order to be able to invite them, you need to be on the Premium or Pro Plan. Unfortunately, inviting is not possible with the Free Plan.

To invite your team members:

  1. Go to Settings > Organization > User Management.

  2. Click the ā€˜Inviteā€™ button on the top right corner of the page.

  3. Enter your teammatesā€™ email addresses, their teams, roles, and statuses.

  4. Click the ā€˜Inviteā€™ button to send them an invitation.

Those who receive an invitation through their email can login to Spiky quickly by following the steps in the email.

šŸ’” Sent invitations expire after 7 days. In this case, you can resend the invitation by going to the "Invited" tab on the member page and clicking the "Reinvite" button.

Define the user roles for team members

To define user roles:

  1. Go to Settings > Organization > User Management

  2. Define the roles as ā€˜Adminā€™ or ā€˜Userā€™ in the permission column.

  3. Define the statuses as 'Active' or 'Observer' in the permission column.

Admin: Can access their own and all other members' meeting analyses.

User: Can only access their own analyses.

Step 5: Get your first meeting analysis

Welcome to the heart of Spiky's magicā€”meeting analysis! šŸš€

To get started, upload your meetings effortlessly:

  • Automatic Upload: Invite Scribe to your meeting and let it handle the rest.

  • Manual Upload: Would you prefer doing it yourself? Simply upload a local file.

Your meeting reports are organized into seven sections: Overview, Feedback, Trackers, Transcript, Moments, Coaching, and Deep Dive.

This part of the meeting report page will give you a general overview of your meeting with the help of the meeting summary and action items.

Please review the Week 1 document for a detailed review of these features and explanations for the rest of the meeting report tabs.
