Zoom requirement:
We’re required to ask the meeting host permission to capture your meeting in addition to asking to be let in from the waiting room.
You must allow both in order for Spiky to analyze your meetings.
What you need to know as the meeting host:
If a Zoom meeting host has local recording disabled, the bot will not be able to record.
To enable the bot to record, the host will need to go into their
Zoom settings https://us06web.zoom.us/profile/setting and check the box that says “Hosts can give meeting participants permission to record locally”
Spiky will ask to be admitted into your meeting.
Spiky will ask you, the meeting host, for permission to capture the meeting as soon as Spiky Scribe is let into the call.
What you need to know as a participant
Spiky will ask to be admitted into your meeting
Spiky will ask the host for permission to capture the meeting
The meeting host must allow both permissions in order for Spiky to analyze your meetings.
When joining a meeting that is already being recorded or the host begins recording, participants are asked to provide consent to being recorded.
If your account will be starting the video capture, it would be good to inform the host about this for approval purposes.
