If you receive the error message "Authorization failed because you don't have permission to authorize the scopes required by the app. Please contact your super admin to get the necessary permission. Log in to HubSpot with your Super Admin credentials." while trying to connect your HubSpot account, it means that the user with Admin permissions on your HubSpot account needs to adjust certain settings.
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Steps for Admin User:
In your HubSpot account, go to settings.
Go to Users & Teams.
Modify CRM Object Permissionsfor this user:
Under CRM, go to CRM Objects.
Modify the permissions for Company and Deals.
Grant view, edit, and delete access to these fields.
Adjust Marketing Permissions:
Under Marketing > Files, enable Edit, View, and Delete permissions.
Enable App Marketplace Access:
Under Account > Setting Access, enable App Marketplace Access.
The settings should match the ones shown in the screenshot below.
Once these changes are made, try connecting your HubSpot account again. The necessary permissions should now be in place, and you should be able to authorize the connection successfully.
