You can connect Spiky Pulse to your Claude or ChatGPT account and ask questions about your meetings, for example "What were the open questions in my calls this week?" You can find recordings, read transcripts, get summaries and pull action items without opening the Spiky app.
Requirements
Before connecting Spiky Pulse, make sure you have:
A Spiky.ai account on the Premium or Enterprise plan
Admin or Super Admin role in your Spiky workspace (unless your admin has opened access to all users)
A Claude or ChatGPT account. Free plans work on both.
Who Can Connect
By default, only workspace admins (Admin or Super Admin role) can connect Spiky Pulse to Claude/ChatGPT. If you want to allow all users to connect, a Super Admin can change this in Settings → Organization → Permissions → MCP Access → Everyone.

Name it Spiky Pulse, paste the server URL and click Add.
Click Connect. A Spiky page opens. Sign in if asked, then click Allow.

Once connected, it also works in the Claude desktop and mobile apps.
ChatGPT Setup Instructions
Go to chatgpt.com and click Plugins in the left sidebar.
Click Add in the top right, then Add custom MCP server.
Fill in the form:

A Spiky page opens. Sign in if asked, then on Authorize access to Spiky click Allow.
Back in ChatGPT, Spiky Pulse now shows under Installed on the Plugins page.
Start a new chat and ask about your meetings. If ChatGPT does not use Spiky Pulse on its own, mention it by name, for example: "Using Spiky Pulse, summarize my calls from yesterday."
What You Can Do
This connection is read-only. Once connected, you can ask Claude or ChatGPT to:
Find meetings — Search by participant, date range, or keyword
Read transcripts — Get the full text of any meeting
Get summaries — Ask for a brief recap of what was discussed
Pull action items — List the follow-ups identified from a meeting
Example prompts you can try:
"What were the key takeaways from my last sales call?"
"Find all meetings with Acme Corp from last month"
"What action items came out of yesterday's team standup?"
"Summarize the demo I had on Monday"
Good To Know
ChatGPT shows a warning that custom MCP servers carry risk. It shows this for every custom server. This connection is read-only and cannot change or delete anything.
If you see an "admins only" message, ask your Spiky admin to turn on MCP access for everyone.
Your meeting content passes through your own Claude or ChatGPT account. Check your company's AI policy before connecting. In ChatGPT, consider turning off Improve the model for everyone in your settings. If it is on, meeting content used in your chats may be used to train OpenAI's models.
You can disconnect at any time from the Plugins page (ChatGPT) or the Connectors page (Claude).
Troubleshooting
"Admins only" error — Your workspace has MCP access restricted to admins. Ask your Super Admin to enable access for all users in Settings → Organization → Permissions → MCP Access, or have an admin connect on your behalf.
Plan restriction error — Connection requires a Premium or Enterprise plan. Contact your Spiky account team to upgrade.
