Changing the User Role and Status

How to update a user’s role and status in Spiky and understand the difference between Admin/User and Active/Observer.

To be able to change your or others' account type in Spiky, you need to have an admin role.

There are two main user roles in Spiky:

  • Admin

  • User

There are two main user statuses in Spiky:

  • Active

  • Observer

These accounts are for you to track your company status, enable/disable it to see some insights, and change the settings related to your company's account. Please check out this article for more detailed information.

If you are already an admin, you will have access to the organizational members page. Navigate to Settings > Organization > People & Teams. This is the page where you can see/edit the user roles and statuses of the people in your company account.

  1. Click the dropdown box next to the person whose user role or status you want to change and select the new permission type.

  2. Click 'Save Changes' to save the edits.
