Google / Outlook Calendar Integration
Connecting Google or Outlook Calendar gives Spiky visibility into your upcoming meetings so Scribe, your AI notetaker, knows when and where to join. Once connected, you won't need to manually invite Scribe to every call.
Why connect Calendar?
Automatic meeting detection: Spiky sees your scheduled meetings as soon as they're on your calendar.
Scribe joins for you: No need to remember to add a notetaker — Scribe shows up on its own.
One less manual step: Frees you up to focus on the conversation, not the setup.
How to connect
Go to Settings > Integrations > Personal.
Under the Calendar section, find Google or Outlook Calendar.
Click Connect.
You'll be redirected to Google's or Microsoft's login screen. Sign in and grant the requested permissions.
Once authenticated, you're redirected back to Spiky and the integration is active.
You can also connect your calendar from the Meetings page by clicking Invite Scribe, selecting Google Calendar, and clicking Connect.
How to disconnect
Go to Settings > Integrations > Personal.
Find Google / Outlook Calendar and click Disconnect.
Confirm by clicking Disconnect again in the confirmation prompt.
Note: Disconnecting your calendar doesn't delete any existing meeting insights. It just means Scribe won't automatically join future meetings — you'll need to invite it manually or upload recordings yourself.
Troubleshooting: Outlook Calendar Admin Consent Needed?
If your organization restricts third-party app access, you might see a screen asking for admin approval during the connection process. In this case, an IT administrator with Azure AD permissions needs to grant access for your organization.

Once your admin approves the permissions, you can go back and complete the setup in Settings.
