Attention, Emotion, Interaction Scores Explained

In meeting analysis, each participant is presented with their own communication metrics. These include:

  • Attention: This is measured using visual metrics, such as observing screen engagement and body position.

  • Emotion: This metric combines facial expression and emotional language usage.

  • Interaction: This is primarily measured by assessing the balance of speaking time between participants. For example, if one person significantly dominates a two-person meeting, the interaction score will decrease notably. This metric is also dynamically scaled based on the number of participants.

  • Language Positivity: This measures the overall positive language usage by each participant throughout the meeting.

  • Vocal Emotion: This measures the emotion conveyed through vocal tone, independent of the language used.

In general, a score above 85 is considered excellent. The ranges we use are:

  • Really Bad: 0 - 25

  • Bad: 25 - 40

  • Average: 40 - 70

  • Good: 70 - 85

  • Great: 85+
